Technical University of Crete gets in contact with potential partners to explore collaboration opportunities

Contacts have been conducted between the head of TUC team Professor Michael Galetakis and the executives of Lignitorichia Achladas (Achlada Lignite Mines) in order to explore prospective collaboration opportunities. The company’s interest in energy storage technologies and especially pumped hydro power storage is evident, unlocking new potential for the post-lignite mining areas in the energy sector, but also in terms of environmental benefits and creating new job opportunities.
